Areas of Specialization: Developmental Psychobiology and Psychopharmacology.
"My research interests include the developmental plasticity of the brain following exposure to drugs or toxins either in utero or during the first weeks of life. Current research examines the effects of early insults (e.g., drugs of abuse, lesions, and stress) on the development of the brain dopamine system, using both behavioral and neurochemical methodology."
