Academic advising is a crucial part of your undergraduate education because it enables you to understand (1) what classes you will need to complete to graduate, (2) in what order you should take these classes, and (3) how these classes can help you develop the knowledge, skills, and characteristics (KSCs) you will need to gain entrance to and succeed in the graduate program or career to which you aspire. Please read the IUPUI Advising Syllabus to gain an understanding of the purpose of our advising program and the ways it can help you become a successful psychology major.
